St. Antoine Daveluy Parish Church
Project:
Newton Massachusetts
Location:
The St. Antoine Daveluy Parish Church in Newton, MA, sought a transformation of its existing concrete church entrance into a natural stone grand entrance. With the expertise of Allen & Major Associates for civil engineering and landscape architect Beth Dermody for design, the project achieved a majestic overhaul. The installation included over 315 linear feet of monolithic salt and pepper granite stairs and more than 1200 sqft of wet-laid granite pavers for the landing areas, ensuring both durability and elegance. Additionally, two custom-made aluminum handrails were installed to enhance accessibility and safety. Completed in the fall of 2020, this project has not only improved the functionality and safety of the church entrance but also significantly elevated its aesthetic appeal, welcoming parishioners and visitors alike into a space of reverence and beauty.
